Authorized reproduction of the users / instruction manual for a B Eldredge Automatic sewing machine. The National Sewing Machine Company made it. It is a chain stitch sewing machine, which means that it has a lower looper and uses one source of thread to form the stitch, not a bobbin and two sources of thread, as in lock stitch type machines. Instructions for using many of its basic attachments are included. It is shown in a treadle stand. Basic information, cleaning and oiling and some troubleshooting information are also included, as is a detailed and illustrated parts list.
