Authorized reproduction of the users / instruction manual for a Singer model 12, also known as the New Family sewing machine. It has a transverse shuttle which means that the bobbin and shuttle travel in a straight line from left to right and right to left or in other words, parallel to the user. It has basic user information and oiling information as well as some troubleshooting and attachments information. It will be found in a treadle base or as a hand cranked sewing machine. This version shows the hand crank attachment. This manual is over 120 years old so it is a bit rough but it is complete except for very small missing fragments and reproduces nicely.
