DOWNLOAD / PDF USER INSTRUCTIONAuthorized reproduction of the sewing machine users / instruction manual for the machines based on the Singer model 15. The Singer model 15 is one of the best designed sewing machines ever and simply put, when the patent ran out, everyone copied it. So, is this what your straight stitch only sewing machine looks like? If your machine has JA or Happy molded into the bottom of the bed, then this is the manual that you need. You see, Happy and other straight stitch only sewing machines marked Made in Japan flooded into the US in the 1940s through the 1960s and when their heads arrived into the USA, most of them had American sounding names attached to them. Some examples of these names are Deluxe, Precision, Deluxe Precision, Butterfly and so on. Simply thousands of those names were used so I can not begin to list all of them. The Singer 15-88, 15-90, 15-91 and 15-125 will not be well served by this book. These machines are very common, but everything is backwards from the other 15s. Check the position of the bobbin case finger to see if it matches or is different from the illustration of it in this manual. If it is different, the needle goes in the other way, they thread the other way, the point is on the opposite end of the shuttle, the bobbin is reversed, etc. |
